Our Story at Iron Skull Farms

2025: Our Beginnings

In the spring of 2025, we settled on our acreage. While it was a homecoming for one of us, it was a beautiful new chapter for the family as we fell in love with local country life. By autumn, we had welcomed our first sheep. Having grown up watching my grandfather tend his flock, returning to these roots felt like a natural fulfillment of a lifelong legacy of sheep farming, inspired by summers spent learning the craft at his side.

2026: Icelandic Traditions

We expanded our pastures to include purebred Icelandic sheep, chosen for their hardiness and exquisite wool. These animals are the heart of our artisanal fibre production and provide premium, pasture-raised meat for our community. This year also saw the introduction of Nigerian Dwarf goats—a cherished project that remains a small but vital part of our farm's character and daily joy.

Today: Sustainable Stewardship

Iron Skull Farms is now a flourishing ecosystem of heritage livestock and poultry. As a small-scale farm, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of artisanal excellence.
